Route 2 Improvement In Randolph, New Hampshire

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation contracted AR Couture Construction to perform a full box reconstruction of almost a mile of Route 2 in Randolph, NH. The project entailed relocating almost 1800 lf of roadway and alignment of the complete roadway to meet designated design standards and safety improvements. This project was completed on time and under budget by AR Couture Construction and solidified our position as a prime road and bridge qualified contractor in the State of New Hampshire.

Route 2 is a heavily traveled East-West corridor for not only New Hampshire, but Vermont and Maine also. It is a major corridor for commerce, heavy truck, and passenger traffic. AR Couture Construction maintained an even flow of traffic during all phases of construction even with the influx of the summer vacation traffic in the North Country.

The location of construction was at the base of the Presidential Range of the White Mountains and presented a beautiful backdrop and a few other wonders of nature that attach themselves to the tallest mountain range in the Northeast; like snow in late May early fall and occasional rain when there was no rain any place else in the country!

Nevertheless AR Couture Construction with its dedicated crew maintained and completed this vital part of improving the highway infrastructure in Northern New Hampshire.
