In their administration of the second College Grant in Northern Coos County, Dartmouth has not only met its environmental obligations but has helped write the book and has raised the bar to standards considerably higher than the prevailing standards.

 

Couture Construction Corp. not only flourished in that environment, but received several commendations from the Director of Outdoor Programs at Dartmouth. The level of care and professionalism that characterized our tenure there exceeded even their expectations. Every stream crossing was executed properly; all stream boundaries were left intact. Our timber harvesting operation was never cited for any infractions; our practices were impeccable, our record is commendable. Culverts, cribbings, low pressure ground mats are just ordinary day to day tools and instruments for us.
